In winter, fans of the white craze have at their disposal beautiful trails for track and downhill skiing. There are many chairlifts, ski tows and platter lifts operating in Wisla. The slopes are adapted for the organisation of ski and snowboard championships, winter competitions and contests for beginners and advanced athletes. The majority of ski centres have illuminated ski slopes, which also allow night skiing. The ski slopes are groomed and when temperature allows, they are covered with artificial snow.
There are 5 ski jumps in the village. Lovers of cross-country skiing can pursue their passion in the area of Jonidlo Sports Centre as well as on professional trails managed by the Polish Ski Association in Kubalonka. When there is enough snow, popular cross-country skiing trails can be used along the Vistula River and the White and Black Vistula Valleys.
There are numerous sports equipment rental services in Wisla, as well as ski schools and kindergartens for children and adults just starting their adventure with skiing and snowboarding.
Sleigh rides are an attraction for whole families. Picturesque routes, e.g. along the valley of the White Vistula River, at Kubalonka, in Gosciejow, allow one to discover the charms of the Silesian Beskid. The sleigh ride has its charm especially after dusk, when the additional attraction are burning torches.
